With the Engineer to Order production principle, the development and design process is triggered directly after the receipt of a customer order. The development is partly forecast- and partly order-driven. The areas of design, procurement, production, final assembly and distribution are generally order-driven in Engineer to Order. This manufacturing principle is particularly suitable for customer-specific products. The degree of standardization is lowest due to individual production.
Construct a product
The user can construct a workpiece directly in a browser, whereby the material, surface, shape, size, etc. are determined by the customer.
With the help of an integrated rule engine, an immediate feasibility check is carried out. If there is a conflict, a warning message is displayed.
A very precise price calculation is carried out depending on all relevant factors, such as material costs, machine use, additional work needed or desired and many others.
The Guided Selling process effectively supports the ordering of products.
Production can be started directly via interfaces to various databases by automatically generating the machine code.
After production, the product is packed and shipped to the customer.
